Job summary

Capability Scotland in Dumfries is seeking a patient, reliable personal assistant to support a client with mixed dementia at home. You will assist with morning care, helping with washing and dressing, and support with showering three times a week. Dinner is provided at 5pm, and shifts are arranged on a rota basis with flexible timing.

Paid leave is provided and a PVG check is required. Females only apply as permitted under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for someone with dementia.
• Ability to assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning routine: washing and dressing.
• Support with showering three times weekly.
• Prepare dinner for client at 5pm and assist with evening routine.
