Job summary

St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Assistant part-time to support our logistics and shop delivery network. You will drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle, assist with stock collection and deliveries, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse operation.

The role requires an empathetic customer service approach, a full valid driving licence, and willingness to travel to our shops across the county. Part-time hours and permanent bank roles are available.

Qualifications

• Track record of successful delivery driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
• Empathetic approach to customer service and teamwork.
• Full valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure an efficient and professional stock collection and delivery service for our shops, including furniture as and when required.
• Helping to ensure that the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse meets the needs of our shops.
• Providing holiday and absence cover for our warehouse team.
• Maintaining health and safety standards within the warehouse.
