Job summary

Medical Update Online is seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to support individuals in their own homes across Staines, Byfleet and Egham. This is a rewarding role that helps people stay safe, comfortable and independent at home.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, meals, medication support, and accompany clients to appointments, while respecting dignity and privacy. Full- and part-time positions available with training provided.

Qualifications

• Care experience is desirable; training may be provided.
• Caring, patient and respectful approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Supporting clients with medication in accordance with their care plans.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Supporting mobility and the safe use of mobility equipment.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with light household duties.
• Supporting clients with appointments, shopping and community activities.
• Accurately completing care records and daily notes.
• Reporting any concerns or changes in a client's health or wellbeing.
• Promoting each client's dignity, independence, choice and privacy.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety, and infection-control procedures.
