Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our Extra Care Housing schemes. You will support residents with daily routines, personal care and light tasks, within self-contained apartments and communal spaces.

The role offers predictable hours, weekend rotation, and comprehensive training in a supportive, not-for-profit environment. We value compassionate communication, teamwork and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Good communication with people.
• Compassionate with a can-do approach.
• Enjoys working as part of a team; keen to learn and excel.
• Health and Social Care qualification preferred or being pursued.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily routines or personal care and provide companionship.
• Assist with light household duties within domiciliary care.
• No travel between locations; work within the same building as residents.
