Bradbury Grange care home in Whitstable, part of MHA, is seeking a reliable Domestic Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents. The role supports wellbeing and infection prevention, with training, a 7-day rota and commitment to residents’ privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or cleaning work is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
• Good communication and listening skills, with a respectful approach to residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Follow schedules and COSHH guidelines for safe cleaning.
• Respect privacy, dignity and personal space at all times.
• Report faults and hazards promptly to a senior colleague.
• Attend training, meetings and appraisals as required.
• Adhere to health, safety, infection prevention and safeguarding policies.
