Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Dietary Aide in Stoke-on-Trent to prepare and serve meals to residents or patients in an assisted living or medical facility. You will assist in basic food preparation, set and sanitize dining spaces, and ensure safe handling per HACCP guidelines.

We value experience in hospitality or dietary roles, strong communication, and teamwork. Candidates must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience as a dietary aide or in hospitality and customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and prepare meals according to standards.
• Good time-management skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents or patients in assisted living or medical facilities.
• Assist in basic food prep and serve meals per therapeutic diets and portion controls.
• Set, clear, clean and sanitize dining spaces.
• Maintain cleaning duties and monitor service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines for safe handling and preparation of foods.
• Follow WHIMIS and MSDS guidelines when using chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Support special function catering as delegated.
