Job summary

Active Pathways Ltd is recruiting a Day Support Worker to cover maternity leave at Heathy House in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This fixed-term role lasts 9 months with potential extension to 12 months, offering varied duties to help individuals live more independently.

You will work on a 38.5 hour week, 8am–8pm, on a two-week rolling rota, with 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a workplace pension.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses, Learning Disabilities, and/or Autism.
• Appreciate person-centred care and promoting independence.
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals and assist with activities of daily living, social, recreational and occupational activities.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and promote safeguarding and health & safety.
