• Must have manual driving licence suitable for the UK.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people who use the service, colleagues and other professionals.
• Sound awareness of Safeguarding issues and reporting responsibilities.
• Commitment to person-centred care and informed consent.
• Health and safety awareness and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with people who use the service, colleagues and other professionals, maintaining professional relationships.
• Attend to care needs identified within the care plan, ensuring privacy and dignity at all times.
• Involve people in the development of their own care and support.
• Maintain safety of people and promptly raise any risks to senior staff.
• Work with individuals in a respectful, person-centred way and contribute to team effectiveness.
• Be able to drive a manual-transmission vehicle if required.
• Undertake other duties as requested by the line manager, including project work or cover.
