Job summary

Hamilton Rest Home in Prestwich, United Kingdom, invites applications for a Care Assistant to support residents on day shifts from 07:30 to 19:30, 33 hours per week, with some weekends and public holidays. The role includes a 1 hour unpaid break per shift.

We value compassionate, patient care and prefer prior care experience with a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification; medication administration experience is welcome. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care role is preferred.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience administering medication is preferred.
• Kind, patient, and empathetic with a passion for supporting others.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, delivering high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents during the day.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting.
• Administer medication and maintain records.
• Monitor residents' needs and report concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best outcomes for residents.
