Job summary

Rossycare is seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker / Driver to provide compassionate, in-home support across Thurrock and surrounding areas. You will follow individual care plans, assist with personal care, and help service users maintain dignity and independence in their own homes.

The role involves travel between visits, documentation on the care monitoring system, and adherence to safeguarding and health monitoring procedures. Driving is essential and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the community.
• Willingness to complete mandatory care training.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in service users’ homes.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and daily activities as per care plans.
• Support service users with bathing, dressing, grooming and continence needs.
• Maintain accurate records using the care monitoring system.
• Respect service users’ dignity, privacy and preferences.
• Report changes in health or safety concerns to the office.
