Job summary

Memorial Regional Health is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to support clinical teams, assist with patient preparation, and ensure safety and compliance across the department.

You will record patient history, vaccine status, vital signs, medication reconciliation, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and participate in in-services and staff meetings to uphold patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
• Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Shows patients to the examination room and prepares them for the provider.
• Records patients’ medical history, vaccine status, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Maintains compliance with department, clinic, and state/federal regulations and policies.
• Collaborates with patient care planning and assists providers with tests and procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and uses EMR forms and documents appropriately.
