Job summary

Choices Homecare, part of the Optimo Care Group, is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients across the Sheffield region. Rate of pay is £13.65 per hour, with mileage allowance and career progression opportunities.

Full training provided; 2-week rotas and development through the Optimo Learning Academy are available. Flexible full-time and part-time hours, with duty coverage 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for certain routes.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking as needed.
• Encourage independence and daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and families.
• Maintain records and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Keep home environment clean, safe and comfortable.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
