Job summary

Creative Support’s Laurels care home in Carlisle, Cumbria is hiring a warm and caring Support Worker to provide person-centred care to older adults, including those with dementia. The role requires flexible rota availability, including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

You will build trusting relationships, support residents to enjoy fulfilling activities, and contribute to a friendly home-from-home environment in a small home of up to 25 residents.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support.
• Willing to work a flexible rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents.
• Administer medications as required.
• Support residents to participate in activities and social engagement.
