Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner to help people living in their own homes in Cupar and surrounding areas. No care experience required; we recruit on values and transferable skills and provide fully funded SVQ training.

You will work day/evenings/weekends with sleepovers, supporting with daily tasks, personal care and finances, while building meaningful relationships and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily tasks.
• Support with medication and finances.
• Perform housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Encourage hobbies and social activities.
• Record observations and communicate needs clearly.
