Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to assist individuals in their own homes in East Renfrewshire. No prior care experience required as training including a fully funded SVQ is provided.

Roles include days, nights, and sleepovers; driver preferred but not essential. Applicants should be empathetic, observant, and good communicators with computer skills, capable of teamwork and independent work, and well-organised.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily activities and personal care.
• Support with medication, finances, cooking, meals and housework as needed.
• Engage in activities and outings aligned with the person’s interests.
