St Philips Care Group is recruiting a reliable cook for our busy kitchen. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals, manage kitchen duties, and ensure high hygiene standards in a care setting. The role involves working to the home’s policies and assisting with ordering and resource management.

We offer full training, induction and shadow shifts, with flexible opportunities to fit around your life and a supportive team environment. DBS/PVG checks are required.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate to residents in a kind and courteous manner.
• Knowledge of textured and modified diets is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• To prepare and serve meals and beverages as required.
• To work in accordance with the home’s policies.
• To carry out kitchen duties ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times.
• To use resources effectively and order food.
• Report any issues or matters raised by service users concerning catering to the Care Centre Manager
• Attend mandatory and in-house training as required
• Understand COSHH
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene records as required
