Job summary

St Philips Care Group is seeking a reliable cook to join our busy kitchen team in Bridgnorth. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents, maintain hygiene, and work within budgets under the home manager's guidance.

We value experience in care or commercial kitchens, familiarity with textured diets, and the ability to relate to residents with warmth and respect. Training will be provided, with induction and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to relate to residents.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to work within budgets and follow home policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages as required.
• Work in accordance with home policies.
• Maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
• Use resources effectively and order food.
• Report issues to the Care Centre Manager.
• Attend mandatory training and understand COSHH.
