Job summary

Colten Care is seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to join our team at Bourne View in Poole, delivering residents on excursions across our Poole and New Milton Homes. You’ll be responsible for safe transport, coordinating with Activities Organisers and ensuring welfare during trips.

This fixed-term role (3 months, possible extension) runs 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work and a PSV licence required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSV licence.
• Good communication and caring approach toward elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents on excursions across Poole and New Milton Homes.
• Assist residents to and from the minibus, ensuring welfare during trips.
• Assist with transferring residents to hospital/appointments as needed.
• Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle.
• Coordinate with Activities Organisers to place residents’ welfare first.
