Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join Cliftonville Care Home in Northampton on a fixed-term contract. You will support the catering function, assist in food preparation, and maintain a clean workspace to ensure safe meals and beverages for residents.

The ideal candidate holds a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, has knowledge of Health and Safety practices including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH, and can work efficiently under a demanding

Qualificações

Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
Be an efficient worker with a high level of sustained physical effort.
Demonstrate initiative and a flexible approach to teamwork.
Show care and understanding towards residents.

Responsabilidades

Support the catering function in food preparation and maintain a clean environment for safe production of meals and beverages.
Contribute to team working, respond to colleagues, and follow work instructions promptly.
Advise on supply and quality of items and ensure timely ordering of replacements.
Act with respect towards residents and their visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
