Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at Osbern Manor, Wigmore, Gillingham ME8 0SW to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable spaces for residents. You will handle daily cleaning, deep-clean schedules, and laundry while supporting infection control in a warm care-home setting.

We offer 40 hours per week, dayshift 8am–4:30pm, every other weekend, at £13.20 per hour. This permanent role welcomes a friendly, respectful individual with care-home experience as a bonus.

Qualifications

• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a care environment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.
