Job summary

Cedar Trust Care Homes Limited in Cheltenham is seeking a caring, enthusiastic housekeeper to help provide warm, compassionate care for residents and to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.

We offer paid weekly hours up to £12.71 per hour, DBS check, pension contribution, 28 days’ holiday pro rata, training and uniforms, and a rolling shift pattern including alternate weekends. We are unable to support relocation or sponsorship for this post.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home.
• To implement safe working procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• To routinely clean rooms, furniture, fabrics and equipment as per schedule.
• To clean sanitary equipment with hygiene in mind.
• To dispose of refuse in the correct manner.
• To ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• To undertake deep cleans of residents' rooms and communal areas.
• To support the kitchen with washing and cleaning in the evening.
• To undertake other duties as needed.
• To communicate professionally with residents, colleagues and visitors.
• To work as part of a team within company policies and philosophy.
