Job summary

Bramley Health is recruiting a Cook for Maple Grove, our 48-bed nursing care home in Rickmansworth opening March 2027. You will prepare nutritious meals following dietary guidelines to meet residents' needs, including special requirements and allergies.

As part of a dedicated kitchen team, you will plan menus, manage food orders, maintain HACCP standards and keep the kitchen clean and organised while supporting residents with warmth and respect.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene level 2 certification required.
• Experience in food preparation in a care/hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to engage warmly with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritional meals for lunch and dinner following menu and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning to provide varied, resident-centred options.
• Manage food orders and stock rotation to ensure freshness.
• Keep kitchen clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
