Job summary

Anchor Hanover in Peterborough is seeking a part-time cleaner for 30 hours per week to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents in both home environments and communal areas.

Role involves using cleaning products correctly, following COSHH and health & safety guidelines, and working as part of a supportive team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent is desirable.
• Use of cleaning products safely and correctly.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment (e.g. carpet cleaners).
• Understanding of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
• Health & safety in the workplace including COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Ensure location is clean, pleasant and safe for customers in homes or communal areas.
• Use of cleaning products safely and in accordance with instructions and health and safety procedures.
