Job summary

First City Nursing and Care is seeking a Care Assistant (Driver) in Swindon to travel between clients’ homes delivering essential care, companionship, and practical support. Full training and induction are provided, with flexible shifts across the Swindon area.

You will be involved in personal care, mobility support, medication prompting, and helping clients stay independent in their own homes, with ongoing training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across all service areas.
• Availability for evenings and some weekends.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including help with washing and bathing.
• Support mobility and administer or prompt medication.
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks.
• Deliver person-centred care to promote dignity and independence.

• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
