Job summary

M&D Care in Pencader is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults in our residential service. No prior experience is required, as full, paid training will be given to the right candidate.

You will assist with daily living tasks, promote independence, and contribute to a supportive team. Shift patterns include weekends and nights on a rota basis, with opportunities for progression and a QCF Level 2 after probation.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Must be aged 18 or over

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
• Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging activities.
• Work autonomously while maintaining safety and respect for those supported.
• Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
