Job summary

Avery Healthcare is hiring a Care Assistant for Horse Fair Care Home in Rugeley, Staffordshire. You will help deliver high standards of personal care, supporting the care team to maintain continuous, quality service for residents.

This role emphasises compassionate, respectful care with a strong induction and ongoing training program to build confidence in your duties. DBS check and UK work eligibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required as Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful to residents and colleagues.
• Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of duties on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with all personal hygiene to support independence and dignity.
• Identify and escalate clinical risk areas such as weight loss,falls and infections.
• Treat residents and visitors courteously, upholding dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
