Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare is seeking caring, compassionate Care Assistants to support people to live with dignity, choice and independence in our care home in Scotland.

This fixed-term role offers comprehensive induction and ongoing training, PVG and SSSC requirements, and opportunities for progression within the group. A visa or right to work in the UK is required due to sponsorship restrictions.

Qualifications

• This role requires a caring, compassionate and respectful approach to supporting others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Willingness to undertake training and continue developing skills.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration may be required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
• Support with personal care, hygiene, nutrition, mobility and daily living activities.
• Encourage independence and participation in meaningful activities.
• Build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain care records and daily charts; respond to call systems promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
