Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to support individuals to live with dignity, choice and independence. Full training will be provided, with a focus on compassionate, person-centred care in a supportive team environment.

Role requires PVG Scheme membership (or willingness), SSSC registration (or willingness), and the ability to work across a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is advantageous but training will be provided.
• PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to obtain) and SSSC registration (or willingness to obtain) are required.
• Willingness to undertake training and develop skills.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
• Support people with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, nutrition, mobility and daily living activities.
• Encourage independence and participation in meaningful activities and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and colleagues; provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report concerns to a senior colleague.
• Maintain accurate care records and required documentation.
• Respond promptly to call systems and provide care in a professional manner.
• Follow infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
