Job summary

Athena Care Homes is seeking a caring Care Assistant for Goodwins Hall Care Home in King's Lynn. You will provide high quality care to residents, support daily activities and contribute to individual care plans in a welcoming, patient‑focused environment.

We offer a comprehensive induction, progression opportunities, funded apprenticeships, and a competitive hourly rate of £14.24 with holiday uplift. Shift pattern includes up to 44 hours per week on a 12‑hour rota, with bank holiday enhancements

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for care and resident wellbeing.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable with support to achieve required qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in the home, ensuring ongoing assessment and care planning.
• Assist residents during meals to ensure suitable options.
• Participate in activities to promote person-centred care.
