Job summary

Athena Care Homes in King's Lynn is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant at Goodwins Hall Care Home to provide high-quality resident care. You will work under the Team Leader to support day-to-day activities and care plans.

We offer funded apprenticeships to achieve NVQ Level 2 or 3, development paths to CHAPS or nursing, a comprehensive induction, and a competitive rate of £14.24 per hour (includes holiday uplift). Shift pattern up to 44 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Passion for caring for residents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a care role desirable; support to achieve required qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in the home with ongoing assessment and care planning.
• Assist residents during meals with appropriate meals.
• Participate in activities to promote person-centred care.
• Attend and complete mandatory and developmental training.
