Job summary

Alexander House Care Home in Exeter is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide compassionate daily living support, personal care, and nutrition guidance to residents. You will follow care plans to ensure dignity, independence and wellbeing, working as part of a supportive team to maintain a warm and respectful home environment.

Open to experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided.

• Role requires a caring and respectful approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are important.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive, and consistent care.
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming environment and teamwork.
• Assist during weekends on a rotating basis as required.
