Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 1 year care experience within the UK.
• Ability to promote independence and respect residents' rights and choices.
• Willingness to participate in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with home policies and procedures.
• Assist residents to promote independence and involvement with respect for rights and beliefs.
• Ensure care is provided in accordance with each resident's care plan.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse in Charge/Senior Care Assistant.
• Respond to resident requests in a positive, polite and helpful manner.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Accept duties within your scope as delegated.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team discussions.
• Attend training sessions and complete the drawn-up programme.
• Undertake other duties as required and applicable to the post.
• Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information and keep files locked.
