Beechcroft Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our caring team in Torquay. You will support residents with daily needs, follow care plans, and help promote dignity and independence.

Excellent communication in English, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work well in a team are essential. Full training provided; previous care home experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Caring, compassionate nature
• Able to follow detailed care plans accurately
• Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
• Team player in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity
• Support residents in daily activities, mobility, meals, and recreational engagement
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet health and wellbeing requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of care using IT systems and ensure regulatory compliance
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members
• Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in the care home
