Job summary

Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas. You will deliver person-centred care, assisting with daily living tasks and working as part of a supportive team.

Full training is provided, and there are paid benefits including double Bank Holiday pay. A full UK driving licence is preferred as visits are community-based and require reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Strong caring attitude with good communication and empathy.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Willingness to undertake training and shadowing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
