Job summary

Highgate Care Services Ltd in Bridlington is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join Foresters Lodge. In this permanent, full-time role (36 hours per week), you’ll support residents with daily living, maintain dignity, and contribute to a warm, person-centred home.

You’ll work flexible evenings and some weekends, with training and career development on offer in a friendly, supportive team that values kindness and compassionate care every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is a bonus, but values and personality matter most.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks (washing, toileting, dressing, undressing) while maintaining dignity.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual needs and monitor residents for confusion or behavioural changes.
• Support continence and assist with end-of-life or progressive illness care as needed.
• Record daily care notes and contribute to care planning in line with policies.
