Job summary
Bluebird Care Cornwall North is hiring a Care Assistant to provide high-quality care in clients\' homes. You will work independently or with a supportive team, delivering personal care, meal support, medication assistance, and light housework while upholding dignity and independence.
We offer full induction, ongoing training, a friendly team with 24/7 support, 28 days annual leave pro rata, and a monthly attendance bonus, plus a Free Health Cash Scheme membership after probation.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to follow individual care plans.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but training provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
- Support with medications and safe disposal.
- Carry out light housework and laundry.
- Be a friendly, dependable face for customers.
- Receive full induction and ongoing expert training.
