Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
• Assist residents in all aspects of personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and respond to clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risks and signs of infection.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
