Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and calm by nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Basic understanding of care procedures and health and safety.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• English proficiency sufficient to perform the role.
• Previous experience in care settings is advantageous but not essential.
• DBS check satisfactory and Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor and record residents’ vital signs where trained.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship.
• Assist nursing staff and senior carers with basic tasks.
• Promote dignity, privacy and choice at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment according to health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents and the healthcare team.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and policies.
