Job summary

Prime Life is hiring a Care Assistant at Woodlands Care Home in the Oadby area of Leicester. You will support residents with daily living tasks, meals and mobility, while providing companionship and maintaining records. The role offers full-time hours with shift patterns across a 7-day week.

Hourly pay ranges from £12.96 to £13.32 depending on qualification, with fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme worth up to £250 per successful candidate.

Qualifications

• A genuine caring nature and patient approach.
• Full training provided; prior care experience desirable but not required.
• Understanding of dementia beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Help residents dine and maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and accompany on outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support health and well-being.
• Greet family members and assist with enquiries.
