Job summary

Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown is seeking a caring Care Assistant to provide high quality daily living support to residents, including personal care, mobility help, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and contribute to a safe, respectful environment.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers; full training, guidance and ongoing development are provided. The role offers a schedule up to 44 hours per week with paid PVG pension and uniform.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care and mobility.
• Support nutrition and emotional wellbeing for residents.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition.
• Contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment.
