Penderels Trust is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a gentleman with a spinal injury and fibromyalgia with daily living tasks, including personal care, meals, medication, shopping, and appointments. The role promotes independence and social activity.

Based in Knottingley, the position requires empathetic, reliable care with a flexible approach to daily needs and DBS disclosure; costs will be covered.

Formación

• Experience in assisting with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Ability to support with meal preparation and eating.
• Reliability and empathy in long-term caregiving.

Responsabilidades

• Support and/or prompt with personal care tasks (toileting, showering, dressing).
• Assist with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
• Support with taking medications as required.
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
• Support to attend appointments (hospital/doctors).
• Help with grocery shopping and errands.
• Support with pet care where applicable.
• Assist with getting to and from activities and school/work.
• Encourage socialisation and participation in activities.
