Job summary

ESP Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support elderly residents in residential and nursing homes. You will assist with daily living, promote safety and independence, and provide compassionate personal care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or relevant qualifications for the role.
• Minimum 6 months UK care experience within the last 3 years.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Willing to undergo thorough DBS and reference checks.
• Ability to follow Home policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Compassion, commitment, patience and practical mindset.
• Respectful care that upholds dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Support with residents' activities of daily living.
• Review and contribute to individual care plans.
• Report with senior healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Accurately document observations, updates and progress.
