Job summary

HC-One is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our care homes, providing support to residents across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care. You’ll work under a Registered Nurse, helping with personal care, meals and daily activities while ensuring residents retain their individuality.

The role requires flexibility with weekend work, day and night shifts, and a focus on safeguarding and high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.
• Work under supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate care.
• Help residents with daily activities and provide comfort, especially for those with limited mobility or distress.
• Participate in safeguarding and report concerns as required.
