Job summary

Wood Care Group are hiring a Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, meals and daily activities. The role offers full training and welcomes candidates with or without previous care experience who show a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Health & Social Care or care certificate is desirable
• Experience in a care home is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexible to work shifts
• Ability to lead a small team would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (washing, hygiene, dressing) and meals
• Attend staff meetings and support ongoing training and development
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and report concerns promptly
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents and their families
