Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily living activities in a home environment. You’ll help with washing, hygiene, dressing and meals, bringing compassion and reliability to your role.

Training is provided, and previous care experience is welcome but not essential. We value staff who are kind, collaborative, and flexible for shifts, with a commitment to safeguarding residents and supporting colleagues.

Qualifications

• Above all, we’re looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives.
• You’ll also need: Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate (desirable not essential).
• Experience leading a team and flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend Staff Meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development to meet changing needs and participate in training.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities and staff understand their duties to protect adults.
• Provide evidence of any untaken training.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation; work in a safe environment.
• Complete all training as determined by the home.
