Job summary

Bupa UK in Farnham, Surrey, is hiring a Care Assistant at Waverley Grange Care Home. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and companionship, working as part of a committed team to deliver high-quality care. This is a permanent full-time position with alternating day and night shifts.

Shifts are 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am, with weekends on a rota. A caring attitude, good communication and reliability are essential; previous care home experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable: care home experience or Health & Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
