Job summary

Bluebird Care Coventry is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support our customers at home in Coventry. You will provide compassionate, personalized care, supporting daily living activities and maintaining independence in their own homes.

We offer a competitive £14-£21 per hour, full induction and ongoing expert training, flexible shifts, and ongoing career development within a friendly, supportive team with 24/7 assistance.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Good communication and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to individuals’ needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for customers.
