Macklin Care Homes invites applications for Care Assistants at Parkmanor Oaks Care Home, Dunmurry. You will join a compassionate team delivering person-centred care, supporting residents’ daily needs and activities in a friendly, values-driven environment.

We offer an induction, ongoing training, career development, flexible shifts, and a supportive staff culture. Successful applicants must register with NISCC and pass an Enhanced Access NI check.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver high standard of resident care.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
• Communicate and collaborate cooperatively with other staff members.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• High standard of personal presentation and attention to detail.
• Good standard of verbal and written English.
• Be eligible to work and live in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating and mobility.
• Delivering excellent quality, person-centred care to all residents.
• Enriching the lives of residents through the delivery of activities.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records in line with patient care.
• Supporting the nursing team with compliance policies and procedures.
• Fully flexible to support residents with one-to-one care as and when required.
