Job summary

Choices Homecare, part of the Optimo Care Group, is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients across Calderdale. The role offers £13.65 per hour, with flexible full-time and part-time hours, mileage allowance, and career progression opportunities.

Rotas are provided in advance on a 2-week rolling pattern with full training. You will deliver care seven days a week between 07:00 and 23:00, with a minimum of 16 hours per week and every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 hours per week
• Every other weekend availability required
• Full training provided, experience welcome but not essential
• UK work permission required

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Support with medication administration and accurate records
• Prepare meals and assist with eating/drinking
• Encourage independence and daily living tasks
• Build positive relationships with service users and families
• Maintain a clean, safe home and respect confidentiality
