Job summary

Choices Homecare, part of the Optimo Care Group, is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across the Bury region. The role offers £13.44 per hour, flexible full-time and part-time hours, mileage allowance, and genuine career progression.

You will deliver care seven days a week between 07:00 and 23:00, with a minimum of 16 hours per week. Full training provided; prior care experience welcome but not essential. A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation
• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed
• Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks
• Build positive relationships with service users and their families
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
